My name is Mzwakhe D.M Gasela. I am an upcoming rapper, lyricist, songwriter and producer from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe who’s stage name is 2TN Dylan (pronounced 2Tone Dylan). I started rapping 2022 and since then, I have released 2 EPs (one collaborative) and 2 Albums (one collaborative). I have had the privilege of performing at a few events in Bulawayo alongside local artists such as Enzo Ishall and Kikky Badass. I’m a versatile musician who can “slide” on any beat, on my debut album I have an afrobeats song and I also released a dancehall song recently. My biggest inspirations musically are J. Cole, A-Reece, 21 Savage, XXXTENTACION and YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
My aspiration as a musician is to make music which people enjoy and relate to, while having fun at the same time. Also, I have dreams of becoming an international name in the music industry, spreading positivity and love wherever I go.
I’m currently working on a number of projects which should span over the next 2 years. This includes a Deluxe edition of the collaborative album I did with my longtime collaborator, M2kay. I also want to venture into afrobeats which has the world in a chokehold right now. Afterwards, I plan on dropping my 2nd solo album titled, P.E.A.R.L.S 2 (Please Excuse Any Rude Language Sir).
