Ef the Third is a hip hop recording artist, and member of the rap duo Art Department PTA from Pretoria East.After relocating to Pretoria from Cape Town shortly after the Covid pandemic to pursue a solid music career, Ef the Third has since put out two EP projects as the rap duo Art Department PTA, as well as a number of solo singles and music videos gathering a couple of thousand views on his YouTube channel.
Slowly making a name for themselves on the local hip hop scene, the duo has worked with popular rising producers such as Sick E, who has worked with mainstream SA hip hop artists such as Sjava, Malome Vector, to name a few. And they (the duo) have gone as far as getting interviews and play listed on local radio stations such as PHELI FM.
With a passion for music from a young age, Ef the Third has gone on to study music in university, focusing on sound engineering as a major, to enable him to work hands on, on the technical side of recording his music. However, over the past years the rapper’s career has been on and off, facing a lot of challenges and obstacles holding back progress. But that has never held back the budding MC’s focus and determination.
Looking to make a break into the local music industry, Ef the Third’s sound gives off slick easy to catch rhymes and laid back flows on bouncing beats that will get your head nodding to the rhythm.
